JUDGING SCHEDULE

There is no specific time schedule for judging specific breeds; competitions for all classes go on throughout the day, all weekend long. Whenever you come, you should be able to see a broad variety of different breeds being judged. Also, throughout the day, you can see all the cats who aren't currently being judged as they relax with their owners, waiting for their next judging.

FAQs for VISITORS

Do I need to bring cash for the show?

Please bring cash, credit card, or debit card for admission and be aware some vendors do not accept credit cards.

Where can I buy tickets for the show?

Tickets can be purchased online or at the door.

Will there be cats to touch and pet?

Some of the cats in the show may be petted, ALWAYS ask permission first and always sanitize between cats. There even may be some "pet me" cats and these cats just love the attention, so be sure to look out for them.

Will there be a cat rescue at the show?

Yes! Clatsop Animal Assistance (Astoria, Oregon) will be on-site meeting people with adoptable kitties! https://www.facebook.com/ClatsopAnimalAssistance!

Are we allowed to bring our personal dog or cat to the show (on a leash, stroller, or carrier?

No, only cats that are pre-registered for the show may enter. There are rules our association has requiring specific vaccinations, health checks, etc. that cannot be investigated or enforced on animals belonging to spectators. It is as much as for the safety of your pet as ours that are competing.

What's the best time to visit the show?

Judging is a continuous process that happens all day long. All judges will handle all of the cats entered.

How about some more information?

Spectator guides will be handed out at the gate.

Can I take pictures of the cats?

Photography is permitted, but please ASK permission first if using a flash or if your camera makes noise while taking a picture. It may scare some cats

Will there be cat supplies and vendors at the show?

There will be many unique vendors featuring cat-themed items like toys, grooming products, cat trees, and much more!

Will there be cats for sale?

Some exhibitors will have kittens or adults for sale. Sometimes these cats will be at the show, but others may be waiting at home to find their perfect home.

Look for signs that read Cats or Kittens for sale.

Will there be people food available?

The concessions will be open as well as a coffee stand in the morning. Menus will be published shortly.

What time should I go to the show?

We recommend planning to arrive at least two hours prior to the end of visiting hours (see above for times) so you have time to see everything.

Anything else?

Have fun! If you have questions, please ask the exhibitors. Some judges will explain what they are looking for throughout the process. There are several judges judging at one time, so find the one that you enjoy the best from a handling or speaking perspective and have a seat.
